About Us

I’m Fara Kaihani, the owner of Kaihani School. We began caring for children full-time over 20 years ago. From the very beginning, we built our place around values that matter deeply to us — children's safety and happiness, healthy eating, a connection to nature and outdoors, and showing kindness and respect for every child who stays with us and every staff member who works alongside us. We were so blessed that these values resonated with families looking for child care, and soon our little community began to grow!

Over the years, I’ve been trusted with more and more wonderful children to care for. I love and nurture every child as if they were my own, and I truly believe that they need a place not just to stay, but to grow, as curious, kind, and happy human beings. I know I’ve succeeded in this because of the extended family I’ve built through the years! I still go on walks with parents of children I once cared for, and I receive visits and kind offers of help from those same children, now grown. These moments warm my heart and give me the passion to continue my work.

In my free time, I enjoy taking walks, gardening, connecting with my online family around the world, and spending time with my daughter, son, and their beautiful families.
