We are equipped with a fire extinguisher, fireplace screen and lock, oven lock, and carbon monoxide fire alarms in every room. All drawers and cabinets are equipped with safety lock devices to protect children from hazards and accidents. We know you're looking for the best daycare or childcare services for your little one, so we've got you covered!
Our philosophy is to provide healthy age-appropriate, fresh, organic, and minimally processed meals to children whenever possible. Currently, over 75% of the food and snacks we serve are organic (including items like milk, bananas, carrots, raisins, eggs, meat, etc.). We also take care not to overcook food, so that nutrients (and natural flavors) are preserved.
We’re proud to be known among families for the quality of our food and snacks. We put a lot of time, thought, and heart into every meal because we believe healthy eating is an essential part of helping children grow, learn, and thrive.
Healthy food and snacks are available to your kids all throughout the day!
We believe that a healthy, diverse diet that includes the full spectrum of vitamins and minerals needed for brain and body development should include items such as fruits, vegetables, quality meats and seafood, whole wheat bread, milk, nuts, seeds, and more. By introducing different textures and tastes early, we help children become adventurous eaters and prevent picky eating. We avoid junk food, juice, and sugary foods, and we're proud to say that our children often develop a lifelong love for healthy eating.
If your child has any allergies or is on a particular diet, please let us know, and we would be happy to accommodate.
See our gallery for some pictures of everyday meals.
We provide care for newborns/infants, toddlers, and up!
Nap times depend on each child’s individual needs. Younger children and babies may nap multiple times throughout the day, while older children often rest after lunch. We like to think of our place as a second home, so children rest when their bodies tell them they need to.
Our regular hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. But if you’re ever facing an emergency or unexpected situation, we’ll do our best to work something out together.
Absolutely! We strongly believe in the importance of outdoor play and time in nature, and we are fortunate to live in an area where outdoor time is possible most days. We regularly take the children into our backyard to enjoy fresh air and sunshine, explore and play, observe nature, and have conversations about what we see around us, from plants and flowers to birds, worms, and rolly pollies! Some days, children join in on gardening activities, which they really love!
We stay connected with Connections for Children, an organization that provides valuable support to childcare providers. Through them, we participate in in-person and online workshops, attend meetings, learn from invited speakers, and connect with other professionals in the field. These opportunities help us stay up to date on best practices in caring for children, and we are very grateful for their ongoing support.
