Yes, we are equipped with a fire extinguisher, fire place screen and lock, oven lock, and carbon monoxide fire alarms in every room. All drawers and cabinets are equipped with safety lock devices to protect children from hazards and accidents.
Our philosophy is to provide age-appropriate, fresh, organic, and minimally processed meals to children whenever possible. Currently, over 75% of the food and snacks we serve are organic (including items like milk, bananas, carrots, raisins, eggs, meat, etc.). We also take care not to overcook food, so that nutrients (and natural flavors) are preserved.
We’re proud to be known among families for the quality of our food. We put a lot of time, thought, and heart into every meal because we believe healthy eating is an essential part of helping children grow, learn, and thrive.
Healthy food and snacks are available to your kids all throughout the day!
We believe that a healthy diet should include items such as fruits, vegetables, protein, whole wheat bread, milk, nuts, seeds, and more. We avoid junk food, juice, and sugary foods. However, if your child has any allergies or is on a particular diet, plese let us know and we would be happy to accommodate.
See our gallery for some pictures of everyday meals.
We provide care for children from newborns and up
Nap times depend on each child’s individual needs. Younger children and babies may nap multiple times throughout the day, while older children often rest after lunch. We like to think of our place as a second home, so children rest when their bodies tell them they need to.
Our regular hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. But if you’re ever facing an emergency or unexpected situation, we’ll do our best to work something out together.
Absolutely! We strongly believe in the importance of outdoor play and time in nature. Whenever the weather allows, children spend time outside to explore, play, and connect with the natural world.
